"Peppy" is bred to perform. His pedigree is full of Champions. And Champion producing Sires and Dams.
Cutting, Reining, and Racing.
He was trained as a Reining Horse and was on his way to the 2000 Reining Futurity. His trainer felt he had a super chance of making the finals. Then disaster struck. He developed a minor problem that required surgery and we were forced to scratch him for the competition.
The summer of 2007 we used him in a family fun sport
O-Mok-See.
His 12th O-Mok-See (with no practice or training) was the State Championship Show, and he placed in 2 out of 6 classes. Quite an accomplishment.
He is even enjoying teaching the Grandson how it is done.
2008 started out with a bang, first
O-Mok-See of the season Pep took Reserve Champion.
